Take & Make Arts & Crafts Kit – starting Tuesday, January 18 – stop by the library to pick up a kit and make your own paper plate polar bear! Supplies limited. First-come, first-served.

ZOOM Little Wigglers Storytime – Thursday, January 20 – ages 0 to 4 – Join Ms. Cara for an interactive virtual storytime. Listen to stories, sing songs, and say hi to your storytime friends! Registration required.

Read to a Dog – cancelled. We hope to bring back Read to a Dog next month.

Zoom Book Clubs are back!

For the foreseeable future, all our programming will be held outdoors, at the Demarest Train Station, or virtually via Zoom. Sign up for the Adult Events email list to be notified of new programs. Foundations Yoga – Thursdays, 11am to 12pm – Practice foundational yoga postures to align, strengthen, and promote flexibility in the body and the brain.

ESL Conversation Group – Wednesdays from 1pm to 2:30pm – Join us for a relaxed conversation group. Registration is not required for in-person meetings. For more information, email orla.cassidy@demarest.bccls.org

How to Successfully Navigate College Admissions in 2022 – Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00pm on Zoom – This presentation by Ron Feuchs and Jackie Tepper, partners at Stand Out For College, LLC, will help families understand how COVID has changed the college admissions landscape and how it affects high school juniors, sophomores, and freshmen. Community Read – Thursday, March 3 at 7:00pm – We plan to offer this program as an in-person, online hybrid event. The title has not yet been selected. Vote now to choose what we’ll read and discuss in March.
