English as a Second Language

ESL Conversation Group

Due to the pandemic, the library is offering modified ESL services. If you’re interested in working on your English skills from home, email orla.cassidy@demarest.bccls.org

The Demarest Library offers conversation groups for English language learners. Meetings are:

  • Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 2:30pm

During the pandemic, meetings will take place at the Demarest Train Station at 24 Park Street in Demarest, NJ. We’ll meet at the picnic tables outside the train station in good weather and inside the train station when the weather is bad. Please bring a mask.

Registration is not required. These groups are relaxed, conversation-focused, and full of friendly students. For more information, contact Orla at 201-768-8714 or orla.cassidy@demarest.bccls.org, or stop by the upstairs desk.
