Storytime at the Train Station – Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:30am EXCEPT APRIL 18 & 20 – for infants to 4 year-olds – Join Ms. Cara for stories, songs, and coloring at the Demarest Train Station. Please bring your masks. No registration necessary.
Chess Club – Saturdays from 10:00am to 11:30am EXCEPT APRIL 16 & 23 in the library Children’s Room – all ages – Come to the children’s room to learn and practice chess with other kids! All levels welcome. Registration not required, but space is limited.
Take & Make Arts & Crafts Kit – starting Tuesday, April 5 – stop by the library to pick up an arts & crafts kit! Supplies limited. First-come, first-served.
Read to a Dog – Monday, April 4 starting at 4:15pm at the Train Station – Children can practice their reading one-on-one with an adorable and loving therapy dog! Children may register for one ten-minute session per date. Registration is FULL, but you can sign up for the waiting list.
Hebrew Storytime – Wednesday, April 6 at 4:00pm at the Train Station – ages 4 and up – Join us at the Demarest Train Station for Hebrew read aloud stories, read by a community volunteer! We’ll also be doing a fun craft to celebrate the springtime!
Crochet Club – Thursday, April 7 at 6:00pm at the Train Station – ages 7 and up – learn how to crochet and work on your own beautiful creations with Ms. Michele! Registration is FULL, but you can sign up for the waiting list.
Engineering Workshop – Monday, April 11 at 3:30pm at the Train Station – grades 2 to 6 – Design, create, test, and improve your prototype with Kerryann O’Connor. Registration is FULL, but you can sign up for the waiting list.
Music with Miss Nita – Friday, April 11, 10:30am at the Demarest Train Station– ages 0 to 5 – Join Miss Nita at the Demarest Train Station for some singing, dancing and musical fun! Registration is FULL, but you can sign up for the waiting list.
Arts & Crafts at the Train Station – Wednesday, April 13 at 3:30pm – Get artsy with Ms. Cara and make some paper doily flowers for Spring! Registration required.
Korean Storytime – Monday, April 25, 3:30pm to 4:00pm at the Demarest Train Station – all ages – Korean-language stories will be read aloud by community volunteers! This program is offered in partnership with the Korean Demarest Parents Association. Registration is NOT required! Masks must be worn at all times.
