Trivia with Miss Kate – Tuesday, April 13 from 4pm to 4:30pm – for kids grades 4 to 8 – Are you smarter than a librarian? Put your trivia skills on display in this fun afternoon game on Zoom, and using Kahoot! 

Zoom Morning Storytime – Tuesday, April 20 from 10:30am to 11:00am – End your morning on a high note by spending it with Miss Kate in a LIVE family storytime!

Zoom Evening Storytime – Thursday, April 22 from 5pm to 5:30pm – miss seeing Miss Kate? Snuggle up for a LIVE family storytime on Zoom! Registration is required, so sign up now!

MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS: Digital storytime! Miss Kate reads two books and sings a song. There will be no storytime Monday, April 5 or Wednesday, April 7 – Miss Kate is on vacation!
EVERY OTHER TUESDAY: Arts & Crafts or Wacky Science! Get step-by-step instructions on crafts to make and experiments to try from home. (Sign up for Miss Kate’s Updates to learn how to register for a kit to complete the monthly arts and crafts project that you can pick up at the library!)
THURSDAYS: Check out “Miss Kate Recommends” for Miss Kate’s favorite picture books, chapter books, young adult books, and more – all available free with your library card online. There will be no “Miss Kate Recommends” on Thursday, April 8 – Miss Kate is on vacation!
FRIDAYS: Miss Kate’s Book Talks give you a closer look at a novel for older kids or teens, including a reading from the book and the reasons Miss Kate loves it. There will be no Book Talk on Friday, April 9 – Miss Kate is on vacation!

Springtime Yoga Waves – Thursdays from 11am to 12pm – Welcome spring with this passive and dynamic stretching ygoa and meditation class – great for limbering up!

DNA & It’s Use in Genealogy – Thursday, April 22 at 4:00pm – This program is designed to help you understand genetic genealogy for use in your research of your family. Terminology, available tools, and what you can expect from your DNA test results will be covered. This fun and informative programs will help guide you in your research into your family history.

Active Stretching and Breathing for Restful Sleep – Monday, April 26 at 7:30pm – We invite you to a moonlight workshop offering with our in-house yoga instructor. Karen Noel welcomes all and ask you to consider learning new habits. This session shall incorporate a quiet sit and mindful and expansive movement, paired with conscious breathing methods for interior and anterior tranquility. Come rebalance your body and brain in an organic, healing environment.

Knitting Club – Wednesday, April 7 and Wednesday, April 21 at 7:30pm – While the library is closed, meetings will be held via Zoom. Email to receive a link to join.

Adult Book Club – Tuesday, April 6 at 7:30pm – The Adult Book Club will be discussing The Jew Store by Stella Stuberman (available on hoopla as an eBook and audiobook and as an eBook on Libby). To receive an invite, email Out-of-towners welcome!
