February for Adults

For the foreseeable future, all our programming will be held outdoors, at the Demarest Train Station, or virtually via Zoom. Sign up for the Adult Events email list to be notified of new programs.

Art Workshop: Soap Pump Bottles – Thursday, February 17, 10am to 12pm at the Demarest Train Station – Bernadine will show you how to paint a soap pump bottle with a beautiful mandala design. All supplies included.

Tame the Monkey Mind in Meditation – Thursdays, 11am to 12pm on Zoom – Calm the endless chatter in the mind through the experience of simple guided meditation, gentle movement, and focused breath methods.

ESL Conversation Group – Wednesdays from 1pm to 2:30pm at the Demarest Train Station – Join us for a relaxed conversation group. Registration is not required for in-person meetings. For more information, email orla.cassidy@demarest.bccls.org

Adult Book Club – Tuesday, February 8 at 7:30pm – February’s book is The Doctors Blackwell: How Two Pioneering Women Brought Medicine to Women and Women to Medicine by Janice P Nimura.
