For the foreseeable future, all our programming will be held outdoors, at the Demarest Train Station, or virtually via Zoom. Sign up for the Adult Events email list to be notified of new programs.
Events hosted via Zoom require you to download Zoom software to your computer or the app to your mobile device, links to all of which can be found here. Always register so we can send you instructions to join. If you need help setting up Zoom, email demacirc@bccls.org
Community Read – Wednesday, June 9 at 7pm at the Demarest Train Station – Join your friendly neighborhood librarians Kate and Orla for a relaxed discussion of Kiley Reid’s best-selling novel, Such a Fun Age. Whether you read it a year ago or are picking it up for the first time – or are just interested in a community chat! – all are welcome. Learn more here.
We plan to offer this program as a hybrid event, with a socially-distanced in-person meeting at the Demarest Train Station and a simultaneous discussion on Zoom.
Pick up a copy of Such a Fun Age at the main desk of the Demarest Library, reserve it on bccls.org, or borrow a copy of the eBook or digital audiobook on Libby.
