Storytime at the Train Station – Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:30am – for infants to 4 year-olds – Join Ms. Cara for stories, songs, and coloring at the Demarest Train Station. Please bring your masks. No registration necessary.
Chess Club – Saturdays from 10:00am to 11:30am, starting March 12 – all ages – Come to the children’s room to learn and practice chess with other kids! All levels welcome. Registration not required, but space is limited.
Take & Make Arts & Crafts Kit – starting Tuesday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 15 – stop by the library to pick up an arts & crafts kit! Supplies limited. First-come, first-served.
Read to a Dog – Monday, March 7 and Monday, March 14 – Children can practice their reading one-on-one with an adorable and loving therapy dog! Children may register for one ten-minute session per date.
Arts & Crafts at the Train Station – Monday, March 14, 3:30pm to 4:00pm at the Demarest Train Station– ages 4 to 8 – Join Ms. Cara at the train station for arts & crafts! Registration required. Masks must be worn at all times.
Makers Day – Saturday, March 26, 10:00am to 12:00pm in the Children’s Room – all ages – the library will be participating in NJ Makers Day! Children and teens can come to the library to participate in activities that celebrate maker culture and STEM-based learning.

Korean Storytime – Monday, March 28, 3:30pm to 4:00pm at the Demarest Train Station – all ages – Korean-language stories will be read aloud by community volunteers! This program is offered in partnership with the Korean Demarest Parents Association. Registration is NOT required! Masks must be worn at all times.
Zoom Book Clubs are back!
