Morning Yoga – Tuesday, September 13 at 10:30am at the Train Station – De-stress with this hatha yoga class combining slow poses, breath work, and meditation. Together we will breathe, stretch, explore our bodies, and reconnect to our true selves. No previous experience required – all levels are welcome!

ESL Conversation Group – Wednesdays from 1pm to 2:30pm at the Demarest Library – Join us for a relaxed, in-person conversation group. Registration is not required. For more information, email orla.cassidy@demarest.bccls.org.

Knitting Club – Wednesday, September 7 in person and Wednesday, September 21 on Zoom at 7:30pm – The first meeting of the month (September 7) will be held held in the library, upstairs in the Quiet Room. No registration required. The second meeting (September 21) will be held via Zoom. Email demarestknitters@outlook.com to receive a link to join.

Energy Practice Yoga with Karen Noel – Thursdays, 11am to 12pm on Zoom – Come continue your deliberate yoga practice cultivating expansive energy movement. Bring an open mind and an open heart! To participate in this class, you need to download Zoom software to your computer or the app to your mobile device, links to all of which can be found here.

Adult Book Club – Tuesday, September 13 at 7:30pm – September’s book is Becoming Nicole: The Transformation of an American Family by Amy Ellis Nutt. Request a copy via the catalog or pick one up at the upstairs desk. Also available on Libby as an eBook or digital audiobook.

In October, the Book Club will be discussing King Peggy: An American Secretary, Her Royal Destiny, and the Inspiring Story of How She Changed an African Village by Peggielena Bartels & Eleanor Herman.
