Memberships and donations help us provide equipment, programs, and services beyond what the library’s town budget covers. With your support, we can continue to bring new opportunities, technology, and experiences to our community.
What We’ve Accomplished Together
Since the Friends were founded in 2023, your contributions have made a real impact.
Enhancing Learning & Creativity
- Purchased Toniebox audio players to support early literacy
- Provided a Cricut cutting machine for youth programs
- Purchased a one-year Fiero Code learn-to-code membership for residents
- Donated a microphone to enhance programs and events
- Donated a 70″ TV for the Community Room
Supporting Children & Families
- Supplied a refrigerator for the Children’s Room
- Sponsored the Children’s Room holiday celebration
- Funded the ice cream truck for the Summer Reading Program
Enriching Cultural & Community Life
- Provided a MOMA Museum membership for residents to explore art and culture
- Hosted author visits
- Supported the henna station at the Diwali event
- Organized a book donation drive to help residents recycle books
- Led crafts and games at Demarest Day and Oktoberfest
- Facilitated a community art tile wall created by more than 50 residents
Building a Stronger Library
- Helped the library innovate with new equipment and technology
- Empowered our the dedicated library staff to bring their innovative program ideas to life with needed materials
