- Adult Art Showcase

The Demarest Library is offering a way for patrons to showcase their art!
How to Apply
In order to apply, you will need to tell us a little about who you are and why you'd like to feature here in our building. Each artist will be able to hang up their work in the Community Room and in our lobby area for a short time. You will also need to read through our Art Display policies and print & sign our "Agreement to Exhibit" form.

Please email our Programming and Outreach Associate Reilly at reilly.hacker@demarest.bccls.org - thank you! We're looking forward to seeing your application!

Sorry, this is not a knitting class. But the library does have an extensive collection of knitting books (including for beginners!) located in the central aisle of the adult bookshelves under 746.432. (Can't find 'em? Ask a librarian! We're happy to help.) The Emerson Community School typically offers an Intro to Knitting class for some hands-on learning – contact them at 201-262-5502.
- Parent Discussion Group

This local discussion group of parents, caregivers, and educators will meet every month to share challenges, strategies, and resources on screen time and tech at home/in school. This is a useful gathering for anybody looking to get more involved in their family's health when it comes to tech products.
Registration is required. Our aim is to meet once a month. These dates/times will vary, so please keep an eye on our calendar to verify each month!
